Hi, my name is Delaney, I created Project Raphael, a non-profit devoted to fundraising for local mental health programs and facilities. We specifically try to focus on teens and adolescents within the vast programs; with a hope to help people fight through their ongoing struggles within and out of the hospital settings. 

Our vision is to: eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the high school and collegiate student-athlete communities, equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics, normalize conversations in safe spaces, encourage peer-to-peer communications, and empower those who suffer in silence & support those who feel alone.

I was hospitalized due to my own mental health, and I saw first hand what it is like to enter these facilities and programs. I spent a total of almost 9 months in and out of programs and facilities. All of them are different but with one sole purpose, to help and support.

Inova has played an important role in my life and my family's lives. I wouldn't be where I am today without the amazing people within their facilities. I hope that you will consider a gift to my fundraiser today.
