The Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Group of North America (DPSG-NA) was founded in 1997 by Drs. Oded Langer, Menachem Miodovnik, and E. Albert Reece to advance research and care for diabetes in pregnancy.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Menachem Miodovnik, a distinguished physician, researcher, and mentor. His dedication, expertise, and passion shaped our field and strengthened the DPSG-NA. Even in retirement, he remained a guiding force for young investigators and colleagues.

To honor his legacy, donations will support a lectureship recognizing the DPSG-NA’s founding members. His impact on patient care, research, and mentorship will endure.
