Inova Honors Legacy of Dr. Gary D. Mather

Inova joins the Northern Virginia community in mourning the passing of philanthropist, Inova Health Foundation board member, and long-time friend, Dr. Gary D. Mather. Over the last two decades, Gary and his wife Ms. Christina Co Mather have generously donated nearly $30 million to vital Inova programs and initiatives – transforming healthcare across our region. His legacy will remain forever intertwined with the progress we make in the fight against cancer and in maintaining our patient-centered approach to care. We are grateful for his partnership and his lasting impact will be felt for generations to come.
